Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the draft Tasmania's Small Business Strategy 2036.

The consultation period has now closed. We are reviewing feedback from small businesses, representative organisations, peak bodies and community stakeholders across Tasmania.

Your insights will help shape the final Strategy and ensure it reflects the opportunities, challenges and priorities of Tasmania's small business sector.

We expect to launch Tasmania's Small Business Strategy 2036 by the end of 2026.

What happens next?

We will consider all feedback as we finalise the Strategy and prepare for implementation.

Following the Strategy’s launch, the Tasmanian Government will work with partner organisations and the wider business community to develop an Implementation Plan. This plan will turn the Strategy's themes and objectives into practical actions, identify areas of focus and provide clear information about what businesses can expect from Government and industry over time.

We will review and update the Implementation Plan throughout the life of the Strategy to ensure it remains responsive to changing business needs and operating conditions.
